Bare Foot

I got the chance to finally after several months of winter to go outside Bare Foot yesterday.  We had two warm days in row, so the ground had warmed up enough to walk on Bare Footed.  I’m one of these people that if I don’t have to wear shoes, then I don’t!

When I was younger I lived in the country & walked down the gravel road without shoes.  I went almost everywhere & did everything I could Bare Foot.  My feet got so tough that I could actually run on rocks, of course one of my cousin’s friends didn’t believe me.  So I had to prove it to him, so Bare Foot & all I took off running to prove that I was not lying.

I like gardening so when I’m in the garden watering it, pulling weeds or picking vegetables, you guessed it Bare Foot again. LOL  Now I have a sister-in-law that hates shoes so much that even when it’s raining or winter.  She will not wear shoes.   The only time she wears them is to go into stores or if there is snow on the ground.  Then she wonders why she’s always sick!  Humm I wonder why?  But you can’t tell her that.  I know I like going Bare Foot, but not at the expense of being sick all the time.

I’ve seen people at the local farmers market that even though it’s 100 degrees out & you know that black top had to be hot, cause you can feel the heat rising from it, going Bare Foot.  Now that’s taking it a bit too far for me also.  Of course I guess their feet must be very tough to be able to stand on the hot black top.  Since I now live in town & no longer walk down a gravel road my feet aren’t as tough as they used to be.  So no more running Bare Foot on rocks for me.

My son is little like me, he doesn’t really care for shoes or socks for that matter.  But he doesn’t have very tough feet, because he doesn’t like to spend much time outside Bare Foot.

I remember though the feel of mud squashing between my toes.  Who needs a spa, to get a mud bath Bare Foot.  Just go outside after the rain & instant mud bath.

I think it does the body good to walk around Bare Foot.  You fill connected to the earth & just plain old feels good on the feet to have fresh grass to run your toes through.  So make sure & take the time to go Bare Foot this spring.
